Dinner with GCA’s grade 12 students at a Sweden Restaurant
On December 12th our group Jenny, Ashley, Nelly, Bruce, Jerry, James Vivian, Candy, Vincent, Rachel, Winnona, and Grade 12 student Mooie ,Judy. We went to the Sweden restaurant to have dinner after Our NFLS’s 45th Anniversary Celebration at 5:15 in the afternoon . We went to Nanjing Oriental Building the -1 floor to have dinner. We chose this restaurant because it is one of the few restaurants that serve Sweden food and it is at downtown which is convenient for everyone to go.
When we first went in to the restaurant it was very quiet because it was very early. I really like the environment there. The wall was decorated with different pictures about the restaurant and also about the scenery of Sweden. There’s a very big model instrument which is traditional instrument of Sweden hanging on the wall. The Christmas trees and Santa Clause were located in the corner because Christmas is coming!
We ordered plenty of food to eat. Our eyes are bigger than our stomach. We spent 50 rmb. per person. (I think the price is quite reasonable.) The food there was yummy. I really enjoyed it. The special food was the special baked bread that had been cut into square shape. We can use a special long folk to get liquid cheese sauce from a big pot where there was fire that heated it. It taste like cheese flavor but a little different because it was heated by fire. Another special dish was the fruit salad. It was not the usual sauce that we used before. It used chocolate flavor to match it. We could put the fruit together with the sauce it was really tasty, sweet and juicy.
There are also many other people beside us. Many Chinese families and lovers went there and I saw some foreigners also. The service was very nice. The waiter and waitress there was very friendly and kind. When we don’t know how to eat something they taught us patiently. I had a great dinner there with my GCA schoolmates and I will definitely recommend my friends to go there and have a try!
